Insight Productions, the company behind such original TV comedies as A Russell Peters Christmas, The Jon Dore Television Show, Hatching, Matching & Dispatching and The Sean Cullen Show is once again looking for the next great TV comedy!

If you have an original idea for a half-hour television comedy pilot, we want to know about it. Get creative. It could be single camera, traditional sitcom, game show, reality, whatever - as long as it's funny!

Simply summarize your pilot idea (maximum 250 words) and submit your entry (you must be eligible to participate and comply with the Pilot Week Rules and Procedures. Submission dates will be published soon). Then get ready to put on your show live!

The Top 20 Eligible Entrants will be selected to present their pilot live on stage in front of an audience at the Comedy Bar during Pilot Week (August 7nd to August 12th, 2012).

Here's how it works... from August 7th to August 11th, the Top 20 Eligible Entrants will present their pilots live on stage at the Comedy Bar. The Top 3 Finalists will then be selected to perform once again on Finale night - Sunday August 12th for the title of "Best Comedy Pilot".

If you are selected by Insight as one of the Top 20 Eligible Entrants, your pilot presentation will need to be approximately 20-25 minutes in length. Also, you must be available to present it one or more times during Pilot Week (August 7th to August 12th). You will perform it once during the period of August 7th to August 11th, and if you're selected as one of the Top 3 Finalists, you will perform it again on Finale Night - August 12th. This is you chance to really show us what you've got!
